This module will establish the principles and conventions for the quantification and costing of domestic construction works and associated infrastructure.

At the end of the module student will be able to:
LO1: Measure low rise domestic buildings using various industry-standard guidelines and documentation
LO2: Produce approximate estimates for construction projects using various information sources
LO3: Price Bill of Quantity item from the first principle
LO4: Use Information Technology and appropriate software packages to produce and price project documentation to a professional standard.
